We are Simon + Sonia of S2 Images. A husband and wife run wedding filmmaking business, based in the Midlands. S2 have not only won awards but have judged multiple wedding photography awards themselves.

From the quiet, intimate moments to the lively celebrations, I’ll be there to capture it all, including any formal touches you’d like. My goal is to create a film that feels as real and unforgettable as your day itself.

This is the best bits of your day, edited into a 3-5 minute video, set to music. I will capture short video clips and put them together as a beautiful highlight video story.

A bit about Sonia and Simon
We live for capturing moments that you can treasure as a whole family
We are Sonia + Simon. We make up S2 Images – S2 for short. We laughed when our son came along as he became the I – thankfully we didn’t call him ‘Images,’ his name just begins with an I.
All the formal stuff aside, our main aim is to tell a great story of your day and to make sure you are having an awesome time. If you are having fun, it shows in the images. We want for you to see your images back, be wow’ed at their beauty and for you to be moved by your story.

Running our business together means everything to us. Simon will be there alongside you on your special day, to ensure that all your memories are captured perfectly.
Sonia is the communications mastermind and will be there for you in the lead up to your day. Between us, we have 30 years worth of experience in the wedding industry.
As we met through photography, it has been the core of our relationship from the start. Aside from that, we love to travel. We have even travelled as far as Malaysia to shoot a wedding. Since our son arrived, a more relaxed style of travel has become more appealing, over the adventurous / off the beaten track style that we enjoyed before.
We currently enjoy spending time making memories and experiencing new things as a little family unit.
SONIA
THE BOSS +
COFFEE MAKER
I am your main point of contact, as I manage communications and basically manage Simon. I play a big role in chit-chatting with couples and ultimately being a helpful guide in the lead up to your big day. So much so, that we often end up good friends, chatting years beyond the wedding.
I used to shoot alongside Simon, until we had our little one after an 8 year long battle with infertility, and then finding out that he had CDH. I decided to take the chance to embrace motherhood, after such a big fight to get here.
SIMON
THE PERFECTIONIST
+ TECH GEEK
My job is to make you look fantastic with my technical wizardry. I love experimenting with light and Sonia would say I am a perfectionist.
When I have a camera in my hand I am in my element. I feel at home when shooting weddings and feel super satisfied that I have a job that I truly love. Couples often say I bring a calming presence to their day – especially on the wedding morning.
For the record, Sonia thinks she’s the boss, but I tend to have the final say!
